Your route is yours.

TrailViz processes activity recordings and preview videos on your device. The current application has no activity-upload endpoint, user accounts, analytics scripts or advertising trackers.

Activity and footage

Imported GPX/FIT data and preview videos are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or third-party services. Moving between the editor and analysis saves the workspace locally as explained below. Video exports and PNG frames are generated locally and downloaded when you choose.

Optional local storage

“Save style” stores overlay settings in your browser's local storage. It does not store GPS coordinates, recordings or videos. Clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove saved styles and cached application files.

Offline cache

A service worker caches the application pages and supporting assets after you visit them online. It does not cache your imported files or preview video. Offline use requires the relevant application assets to have been loaded successfully at least once.

Website delivery

Your browser requests the application, bundled fonts and illustrative images from the hosting provider. The provider may process ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser headers. Local processing does not make website visits anonymous.

Downloaded files

Overlays can reveal routes and activity information. The optional timing JSON includes the activity start timestamp. Choose what you export and share.
